Since my teenage years, I have been trekking around Laos as a tour guide for over 8 years. Born in an ethnic minority village, I speak several languages. Additionally, I attended college, so I am fluent in English as well. I live with my wife and kids close to Oudomxay but have worked for years in Phongsaly and Muang Khua too, giving me extensive knowledge of northern Laos. TREKKING IN MUANG XAY
Muang Xay is nestled in the heart of Laos and easily accessible from all major towns. Just outside the town, a beautiful and unexplored part of Laos awaits you. Our journey together can span from 2 to 8 days, depending on your preference.

TREKKING IN MUANG KHUA-PHONGSALY PROVINCE
This district is located in the southern part of the Phongsaly province. The residents here belong to various ethnic groups such as Akha, Khmu, and Tai Dam. We offer treks ranging from 2 to 6 days (1 to 5 nights). All treks in this district are moderate and offer a balanced combination of nature and village experiences.
PRIVATE CAR TOURS IN NORTHERN LAOS
We also arrange road trips (with a driver) for those who do not fancy a multi-day trek. These range between 3 and 5 days and start in Muang Xay as it is easy to reach. This tour can also be organized as a one-way trip to Phongsali from where you could continue to Vietnam.
TREKKING IN BUONTAI-PHONGSALY PROVINCE
Phongsaly is tucked away in the northeast of Laos and is the most remote but most beautiful province in the country. It has lakes, forests, and mountain rice and cardamom fields. The trips offered here are for the more adventurous, but they are definitely very rewarding as some parts remain relatively untouched.
