This trekking is quite hard and difficult, is absolutely beautiful views and landscape on the top of mountain at Akha Village. We will go up mountain through the jungle and forest, meet local people and spend overnight with local family and have local family food.
Day1: Phongsaly – Boat trip – trekking point – Maichalern village – Peryenxang kao village ( Akha Ethnic Villages) (_/L/D)
We start from at your guesthouse in Phongsaly Town at 7:30 a.m. in the morning to the Dam No: 06 by a private car, it takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour and then we take a slow boat to do a short boat trip to the trekking point, it takes between 15 and 20 minutes. After that, we will walk up to Akha villages (two villages), it takes 4-5 hours walk. Today we are going to have a picnic lunch on the trek and we will arrive the village late in the evening.
When we arrive, we will spend some time to explore the village, meet local people and see the activities what they do for their living life, learn culture and custom and enjoy the sunset on the top of mountain at their village. Today we will spend overnight with a local family who are the host and offer their local food for us.
Approximately: 1 hour drive, 15 – 20 minutes boat trip, 4-5-hours walking. Trekking level: hard and difficult.
Day2: Peryenxang Kao Village – Chakhampa village- Boat trip – Dam no: 06 – back Phongsaly Town (B/L/_)
This village is absolutely beautiful landscape views covering with the sea of clouds in the morning when it is sunrise. The local people are still wearing their traditional dress, it is good chance for photographer to make photos. After exploring the village and having breakfast, we will continue our hiking, walk up and down along the ridge of mountain to Chakhampa village and walk down to the boat port where we will take a slow boat back to the Dam no: 06 and take our private car back Phongsaly town, it takes 3-4 hours walk. Today we will have lunch nearby the dam/Phongsaly town.
Approximately: 3-4-hour walking. 12-15 minutes boat trip, drive 1 hour, Trekking level: easy

What you should bring for the trek: good shoes/boots, long pants, long sleeves, hat, rain coat, flashlight, sun scream, mosquito spray, cloths and flip-flops for changing, towel for washing/taking shower (taking a shower in opened public), equipment.
