one day trekking through Tea Plantation and visit Akha Oma Ethnic village and 400 years old tea plantation in Phongslay, Northern Laos.
Meet your guide at your guesthouse in Phongsaly Town at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and drive to hiking point by a private car/minivan, it takes between 15-20 minutes. Then we will walk to Namlaeng village (Akha Oma Ethnic) through young tea plantation with beautiful views and landscapes. After exploring Akha Oma Village there, we will hike up mountain through young tea plantation to the place where our private car is and catch a car/minivan there heading to 400 years old tea plantation, it takes between 15 and 20 minutes drive. We will do a short hiking there and spend some time to see the ways how the tea processing is and then drive back Phongsaly Town, it takes between 40 minutes and 1 hour drive.

Approximately: 2 hour by a private car (go and back), 2,5 – 3-hour walking. Trekking level: moderate.

What you should bring for the trek: good shoes/boots, long pants, long sleeves, hat, rain coat, flashlight, sun scream, mosquito spray, cloths and flip-flops for changing, towel for washing/taking shower (taking a shower in opened public), equipment.
